The holidays are here and our attention turns more toward family, friends, and celebration. For some, the holidays brings joy and happiness. For others, this time of year can bring sadness and depression. Let me encourage you to look to Jesus whether in celebration of the holidays or through times of depression. Jesus knows how you feel and He is ready to comfort you and give you a feeling of belonging and joy. Find the strength to praise Him in the storm no matter how you feel and what the devil says. It is often difficult to praise in challenging and hurtful times. However, He that lives within you is greater than he who lives in the world. You are already an overcomer. Praise in the time of storm provides assurance, comfort, and victory. Embrace Jesus because He is already embracing you.
